Q: What if I need to reschedule/cancel my cleaning?

A: We understand kids get sick or emergencies happen.  If you know you are going to cancel or reschedule, please give us at least 24 hours notice so we can fill your time slot with another cleaning client.

 

Q: How does your cleaning crew get into my home?

A: You may leave the door unlocked, hide a key somewhere on the property, provide us with your garage door remote code or provide Home Sweep Home Cleaning Service with a key, which we will mark with your first name only.

 

Q: How will I know if the cleaning crew who show up to my door are affiliated with your cleaning company?

A: The safety and security of our clients and their property is our utmost concern. Every cleaning crew member will arrive to your home in a HSH shirt and company vehicle. If you have any questions or concerns, just call the office for verification.

 

Q: Do I leave a check with the professional cleaners?

A: Yes, we require payment in full at the time of cleaning service.  We accept personal check as well as Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.

 

Q: What if I’m not completely satisfied with my cleaning?

A: We ask that you call our office within 24 hours to discuss the issue. We will reclean any part of your home until you are satisfied.

 

Q: Can I use my own cleaning supplies?

A: Of course! We can use whichever chemicals or tools you provide, though we ask that you understand use of cleaning chemicals and equipment not provided by our lcleaning company is done at the customer’s risk.  We do not warranty any cleaning chemicals other than those we provide, nor can we be responsible for any damage that might be caused by chemical agents you provide.

 

Q: Can you use Green products?

A: Certainly. Let us know you want us to use green cleaning products beforehand so we can bring them along. Whenever possible we provide and utilize the greenest cleaners available however we defer to the cleaning agents that provide the best possible results unless directed otherwise.

 

Q: What if I refer a friend?

A: Our cleaning business is largely based on client referrals and we greatly appreciate the gesture.  As a token of our appreciation, we will mail you a gift certificate which you can apply to any cleaning of your choice.

 

Q: Do your professional cleaners speak English?

A: We have both English-speaking and Spanish-speaking cleaning staff.  We make every effort to include an English speaking individual in each cleaning crew.

 

Q: What if one of the cleaners gets hurt in my home?

A: We are fully insured and carry workers compensation insurance, cover all applicable taxes, fees and licensing so you are completely protected.

 

Q: Do you do laundry?

A: We will change the sheets on your master bed with each cleaning (if you leave clean sheets out for us) however each bed beyond that warrants a small additional charge.

 

Q: Do you clean windows?

A: We spot clean around the kitchen area and clean the front and back storm door glass.  If you want your windows cleaned inside and out, we maintain a specialist trained for that and will happily provide you with a separate bid for that cleaning service.

 

Q: What if something in my home is damaged or broken?

A: We ask that you contact the office as soon as you notice the damage done by our professional cleaners, and we will arrange a time to come assess the damage and establish liability.  After doing so, we can determine whether to reimburse, replace, or repair the item.

 

Q: Will the professional cleaners take out my trash?

A: Yes, we empty all of your interior trash cans and will put liners in the 4 gallon cans.  If you leave out a liner for your kitchen trash, we will put a new liner in the can.  Home Sweep Home puts the consolidated trash in your outside trash can or in your garage.

 

Q: Will you clean in my china cabinet?

A: Yes, if you empty the china cabinet, we will clean for an additional charge.

 

Q: Do you clean inside the refrigerator or oven?

A: Yes!

 

Q: What if my scheduled cleaning day falls on a holiday?

A: We make every attempt to call ahead of time to reschedule your cleaning.  We sometimes have limited cleaning openings, so we urge that you contact us well in advance if your flexibility is limited.

 

Q: What if my cleaning crew is sick?

A: We will reschedule your cleaning, or we can send a different cleaning crew.
